More About Us!

Aimee and Melissa first met at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX while obtaining their various dyslexia certifications-Melissa for her CALT and Aimee for her QI. The two hit it off and remained in communication.

The idea for The Duo came about when both were wondering  how to get good, reliable information about dyslexia to parents, educators, and decision-makers. A few months later, The Dyslexia Duo published their first episode in late June 2024.

Since then, The Duo's podcast has been downloaded around the world, including Australia, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Norway, South Africa and the U.K.
